Stage, presentation, and event lighting

CHAUVET Professional offers theatrical and event lighting including Ovation fixtures, Maverick and Rogue moving heads, and COLORado fixtures. XL AV evaluates fixtures for stages, worship spaces, education, and multipurpose venues.

Fixture selection depends on throw distance, beam coverage, colour requirements, dimming behaviour, and the activities being lit. A presentation needs useful light on faces and lecterns, while a performance may need colour, movement, and independently controlled areas.

Power, data, and scene programming

We define fixture locations, mounting requirements, electrical loads, and control data distribution. DMX addressing and network control are planned for the selected fixtures and console. Supported protocols and weather ratings are checked by model.

XL AV configures fixture personalities, patching, groups, and routine scenes. Camera use requires attention to colour temperature, exposure, dimming, and flicker at the intended settings. Where a LUXVISION LED display is installed, stage lighting is aimed and adjusted with display brightness and camera views in mind.

Defining the lighting scope

Provide stage dimensions, mounting positions, event types, and operator experience. Tell us whether visiting programmers need console access and whether room presets should recall lighting scenes. Electrical and structural work is coordinated with the appropriate trades and project specialists.
