Impact-resistant face and trim
A protective LED mask keeps air-inflated sports balls off the diodes. Micro-grooves help perceived contrast. Perimeter trim protects edges as part of the mechanical design.

Indoor track, field houses, and meet assemblies need results and introductions that the whole room can read. XL AV specifies an indoor LED wall for that job, not an outdoor infield board.
Heat lists, results, athlete introductions, and meet branding belong on a 16:9 indoor canvas the crowd can actually read. Outdoor infield boards are a different product.
XL AV specifies LUXVISION PROLUX Rugged for indoor track, field-house, and gym rooms that host meets and assemblies.
Field houses host PE, other sports, and campus events. The wall has to switch to those jobs without a specialist on site.
We specify processing, audio, and control with the room, then train staff.
Field houses are bright. We operate PROLUX Rugged around 2,100 nits so results graphics stay readable from the far seats.
Announcer speech and meet audio belong with the wall. We specify or integrate PA and program sound when they are in scope.
Meet directors and campus staff need a path they can run. LUXVISION typically uses NovaStar processing. Training is at commissioning.
We start with the room: dimensions, viewing distance, how it is used, structure, power, and whether audio, lighting, and live video are in the project. Then a specification, coordination with the facilities team, installation, commissioning, and operator training. Spare modules stay on site so a failed cabinet is swapped, not left dark.
PROLUX Rugged
A protective LED mask keeps air-inflated sports balls off the diodes. Micro-grooves help perceived contrast. Perimeter trim protects edges as part of the mechanical design.
Earlier rugged products could lose magnetic modules on a hard hit. PROLUX Rugged uses a quarter-turn metal-to-metal interlock so modules stay on the wall and still service from the front.
Current PROLUX Rugged warranty context is 7 years, including impact from air-inflated sports balls.
Modules, cabling, and feeder access are designed from the front. That is required when a gym display is mounted tight to a wall with no rear aisle.
Gyms collect dust. Fans ingest that dust and then fail. PROLUX Rugged uses the cabinet as a heat sink with Mean Well supplies. There is no cooling fan in the documented architecture.
Pixels capable of about 3,900 nits are operated around 2,100 nits. The intent is less heat and less electrical infrastructure than driving the diodes to their maximum.
No. This is an indoor field-house and gym wall. Outdoor infield product is a different family.
Yes. They are layouts on the same canvas.
Size follows farthest viewing distance. We map that from the room.
Yes. That is the point of a multi-purpose indoor canvas.
