Da-Lite projection screen integration
Projection screens for classrooms, boardrooms, and multipurpose rooms.
XL AV sizes Da-Lite screens with projector brightness and throw distance for the viewing positions.
Screens selected with the projector and room
Da-Lite, part of Legrand AV, supplies projection screens and screen surfaces for installed applications. XL AV selects a screen arrangement with the projector, audience positions, room lighting, and content requirements.
Fixed and motorized screens serve different layouts. Surface selection considers projector placement, viewing angles, brightness, and ambient light. The required aspect ratio and image size are established from the source content and the audience viewing distances.
Placement, mounting, and motorized control
We coordinate screen height, sightlines, projector throw, and obstructions such as lighting fixtures or ceiling services. Screen housing, attachment requirements, power, and control wiring are reviewed with the site and applicable trades.
Motorized screen operation can be coordinated with projector power and room presets using supported controls. Commissioning checks travel limits, source image framing, focus, and normal operating sequences. Maintenance access and a suitable control method should be established before the ceiling or wall finishes are completed.
Preparing a projection consultation
Send room dimensions, seating plans, ceiling details, ambient light information, and any existing projector model. Tell us whether the screen must retract for other activities. For rooms requiring a large display under substantial ambient light, XL AV can also assess LUXVISION LED alongside the projection design.
