LED washes, profiles, and effects

Blizzard Lighting offers wash fixtures, moving heads, ellipsoidals, battens, and control accessories. XL AV evaluates these products for worship, entertainment, education, and event spaces according to the lighting tasks and operator requirements.

A colour wash, focused presentation area, and moving effect require different fixture characteristics. We review beam spread, available throw, colour mixing, dimming, noise, and camera use when selecting the equipment.

Control distribution and installed operation

We plan fixture mounting, power, DMX addresses, and data distribution. Wireless DMX may be considered for suitable applications, with coverage and interference reviewed for the site. Network-to-DMX interfaces require a defined protocol and addressing plan.

XL AV configures fixture modes and repeatable scenes, then checks transitions and operation from the selected controls. Where cameras or LED displays are part of the room, we test lighting levels and settings with those systems operating. Routine staff controls and event programming access are defined in the project scope.

Planning fixtures and controls

Provide the stage or room layout, existing fixture list, mounting and power availability, and desired scene types. Tell us who will operate the system and whether it needs to connect to room control. These details establish fixture quantity, console or controller requirements, and installation work.
