DSP for room and facility audio

Symetrix offers signal processing, network audio, and control products for installed AV. Its processing range includes platforms for custom signal routing and Dante applications. Software and feature support depend on the selected product.

XL AV evaluates Symetrix for meeting spaces, education, hospitality, worship, and multi-zone facilities. Inputs, outputs, conferencing needs, and network audio channel counts establish the processor and expansion requirements.

Processing, logic, and user controls

We program microphone and playback routing, zone levels, equalization, delays, and limiting where required. Divisible rooms may need logic that changes routing when spaces combine. Paging and background music require a defined priority structure and clear controls for each area.

For networked audio, we coordinate the devices, channel subscriptions, clocking, and switch requirements. Wall controls and AV control interfaces are configured for the actions staff need. We verify supported control methods and conferencing functions for the specified models.

Commissioning and handoff

XL AV checks every intended route, preset, and control action, then adjusts the audio processing for the installed loudspeakers and room. Provide a source and zone list, existing DSP files if available, and IT requirements. Handoff documentation can include signal-flow diagrams, channel labels, and configuration backups within the project scope.
