Crestron Control for UC

Crestron Control for UC connects the unified communications platform to displays, cameras, audio, lighting, and share workflows on one control surface. Teams or Zoom remains the meeting path; Crestron handles the rest of the room.

Displays, audio, and room systems with UC

Hybrid rooms often need shades raised, the correct display on, and laptop share routed without opening a second app. Crestron Control for UC keeps the meeting platform and room systems on one operator path.

Users join the call through Teams or Zoom as usual. The Crestron layer drives AV routing, cameras, lighting, and shades around that call.

One UI for join, share, and room systems

We program for starting a meeting, sharing content, switching cameras or mics when needed, and leaving displays and lights in a defined state at end of meeting.

Workflows we document include scheduled rooms, walk-up huddles, and training layouts that change during the day.

Scaled the same way you scale UC

Organizations that standardize Teams or Zoom images can apply the same discipline to Crestron: room types, provisioning steps, and support documentation aligned with the UC rollout.

80 Series UC touch screens and XiO Cloud management are common parts of that stack. See those pages when the project needs hardware UI or fleet management detail.

Questions

Does this replace Teams or Zoom?

No. Crestron Control works alongside the UC platform so room devices and environmental systems are available on the same interface as the meeting workflow.

Can lighting stay on the Crestron UI during a Teams meeting?

Yes, when lighting is in the Crestron program and the touch interface exposes those controls alongside the UC workflow.

What if rooms use different UC stacks?

Share platform requirements early. We design room types per UC stack so join, share, and device control match each platform.

Is a UC touch screen enough by itself?

Simple rooms may need only the UC touch interface. Many spaces still need a Crestron control program for displays, audio, and shades. We specify from room use and device list, not from a single SKU.
